No. The compressor must have a maximum operating pressure of 11 BAR (165 psi) to properly maintain the ProofMaster's 10 BAR testing cycle.In addition, the compressor must be equipped with the proper filtration system to protect the tester. The ProofMaster tests the water resistance of watches conveniently with a fully automatic closing and test sequence. Key Information

Proofmaster requires a 11 BAR minimum compressor (sold separately).
Minimum two filter system is required: one 5-micron filter to remove moisture and one 1/100-micron coalescing filter to remove oil and super fine particles.
Watch holding capacity of 70mm watch diameter and 30mm watch height.
Always inspect a watch before testing. If the crystal shows any sign of damage, DO NOT test watch.

In addition, the compressor must be equipped with the proper filtration system to protect the tester. At a minimum, it should include:

A 5-micron filter to remove moisture
A 1/100-micron particle filter to remove oil and ultra-fine particles

Using a compressor without the proper filtration can damage Witschi waterproof testing equipment and may affect the performance and longevity of the instrument.

We recommend the Werther Silent Air Compressor (stock # AC6414), which meets the required pressure and filtration specifications for use with the ProofMaster.

The recommended service interval is 100,000 test cycles. Please contact us to arrange service.

Witschi will support and service their equipment for 10 years after a particular model is discontinued.

If it is currently set at 160 psi, run a 10-BAR test and observe the psi pressure as it drops on the gauge. Note the pressure when the compressor turns on to refill the tank. The compressor must turn on at 10-BAR or 145 psi or the “NO AIR” warning will appear on the ProofMaster.
